In the late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Fes and get you checked into your authentic riad.

We’ll stop for lunch in the high-altitude town of Midelt, where the scenery begins to change dramatically from green valleys to dry riverbeds and finally to the pre-Saharan plains. The long drive will be more than worth it when you arrive in Merzouga at dusk, stepping out of the car to the breathtaking view of towering golden dunes under a starry night sky.

Upon arrival in Marrakech, you'll start discovering the city's magic at the famous Djemaa el-Fna square, a bustling nightly drama of musicians, fortune tellers, and acrobats under the glow of torch-lit markets.

Today, we continue our journey across the Atlas Mountains toward Marrakech! Along the way, we'll visit the fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou.
