You will delight in tasting your way through the different types of Port wines and enjoy the bold, robust still wines. The Dourense gastronomy matches that of its wines: big, hearty meals that are mainly meat-based and game, but in true Portuguese fashion, plenty of fish can also be found in these parts. Day 1
Porto Food & History Tour
This food and culture tour will take you on a journey of discovery through the streets of Old Town Porto. You will visit small restaurants, cafes, the most famous monuments and sights and the oldest specialty stores and grocery stores in the city.

Day 2
Cooking, Wine & Sunset Cruise
Today you’ll drive 1h30m to the Douro Valley and dive into a private cooking class, beginning with an informal tour with an actual Portugese countess. Her estate, filled with olive groves, cherry trees, and organic gardens will provide you with ample ingredients to use in your meal. Lunch will be served at a private room or out in the gardens. You’ll then head deeper into the Valley and check into a hotel with an idyllic and tranquil riverside location at Pinhão. Relax and enjoy the amazing view of the Douro Valley and river during a sunset sailing cruise with sparkling wine onboard.

Day 3
Duoro Wine Day
After breakfast, enjoy a rabelo boat cruise up the river to Ervedosa. Today, you'll enjoy a private visit, premium wine tasting and lunch among the vines at a small boutique winery, located in the heart of the Douro Valley. The steep terraced vineyards surrounding the estate offer spectacular views of the majestic Douro river gliding by just below.

Day 4
Vinho Verde Day
Be picked up by a private driver and enjoy a private visit with premium wine tasting at a quaint Vinho Verde Winery. Run by a gregarious team who are extremely gracious and professional, expect an incredible day filled with jaw-dropping views, phenomenal wines and enough cultural and historical information to keep your Portuguese trivia fresh for decades.
