Get into the heart of Andalucia with this one day tour of Sevilla. Wind your way through the city’s charming Spanish streets and magnificent plazas. Explore its Moorish roots with visits to the Alcázar palace, learn about its Gothic architecture at the cathedral, get lost in the narrow alleyways and lively tapas bars of its Santa Cruz neighborhood, and immerse yourself in its bullfighting and flamenco history found in the former gypsy quarter of Triana.
PANORAMIC WALKING TOUR WITH WINE AND TAPAS
Your first day in Seville will be dedicated to the art of eating well with a city tour accompanied by stops at local tapas bars. Here you’ll get to see some of the most iconic sights in the city, while your knowledgable guide teaches you the ins and outs of what tapas simply can’t be missed. Of course, you’ll also learn about local wines and how they pair with the region’s best bites.
FLAMENCO CLASS AND SHOW
On our second day, you’ll get into the Sevillian spirit with a flamenco class! You’ll learn the story behind this historic dance and its lively costumes as you get into its seductive rhythms and then be treated to a show that evening, where the magic will really come alive.
On your free day in the city, you can explore deeper into the sights you saw on your opening day walking tour. Tour the Royal Palace with its stately Spanish gardens, admire the inside of the Gothic grand cathedral, or take in the view atop the playful “setas,” the Metropol Parasol. From sightseeing to shopping to cafe hopping, you can do it all on this day.
DAY TRIP TO CORDOBA
Today we’ll explore the Moorish city of Cordoba, just a short train ride from Seville. There we’ll have a tour of the city, exploring the indelible impact of the Moors on this city, once the largest in Europe. We’ll see the famous Cathedral, known as the Mezquita, which was once one of the most important mosques, the old Roman bridge, the Jewish quarter, and the Alcázar.
