The people behind the journeys

Adler Marlow is shaped by people who care deeply about how travel feels. Designers, hosts, and operators brought together by curiosity, care, and a shared respect for craft.

From design to delivery

The people behind the planning

Our team works across Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, combining local presence with global perspective. Each person brings their own expertise, and a shared commitment to designing travel that feels personal, seamless, and well held.

Danny Adler

Chief of Culture, Curiosity & Culinary Detours (aka Founder & CEO). Born and bred in New York City, Danny moved to Spain in 2007 and never looked back. A former chef in some of NYC’s finest kitchens, he swapped the pass for the plaza and found himself hooked on Spain’s culture, cuisine, and chaotic beauty. After a brief (but well-stamped) chapter as a travel journalist - with assignments that took him from Zambia to Georgia - Danny put down roots in Barcelona. He started guiding food and wine tours, but it didn’t take long before he was running the show as GM of a boutique travel company. In 2016, he founded Adler & Marlow, built on the idea that travel should be personal, deeply local, and never cookie-cutter. Since then, Danny has also become a dad to two girls, an experience that’s deepened his focus on multigen journeys. He’s passionate about designing travel that keeps grandparents, toddlers, and everyone in between engaged, relaxed, and delighted. Danny leads the business and nurtures our key relationships with agents and partners, ensuring AM continues to grow with heart, and close to its roots.

Hanni Martini

Chief of Smooth Sailing (most days) (aka COO). After nearly two decades in Operations, Hanni found her way into the glorious chaos of tailor-made travel. These days she keeps the Adler Marlow ship sailing smoothly - overseeing operations, team culture, systems, and the occasional spreadsheet meltdown with a strong coffee in hand. Originally from the UK, Hanni now calls Málaga home and brings both British pragmatism and Andalusian flair to everything she does. She’s the one making sure things actually get done - beautifully, efficiently, and always with the client in mind. She lives for a perfectly curated itinerary, a Gilda with an icy vermouth, and that moment when a travel designer says, “I’ve got a wild idea...” and she makes it happen.

Figen Hazbay

Head of Travel Design & Dream Delivery. As Head of Travel Design at Adler Marlow, Figen lives in the sweet spot between spreadsheets and daydreams - turning wish lists into wow moments and making the impossible feel effortless. No two itineraries are ever the same on her watch, and she wouldn't have it any other way. Originally from Turkey and Portugal (though she’ll admit her Portuguese is more symbolic than spoken), Figen made the leap to Barcelona at 32 - packing up her life and moving in just four months. Before joining AM, she spent over a decade immersed in the world of luxury travel, high-end rentals, and boutique hospitality, always with a flair for detail and a passion for creating experiences people rave about long after the plane has landed. She’s the mastermind behind many of our most magical itineraries, and the reason so many of our travellers say, “This was the best trip we’ve ever taken.”

Geoff Beaugrand

Travel Designer & Local Rhythm Specialist Geoff doesn’t do cookie-cutter travel. His trips feel like stepping into a rhythm that was already there. Quiet backstreets, local bars, lazy lunches that turn into evenings. As a Travel Designer, he builds the kind of experiences you don’t find in guidebooks: personal, unscripted, and full of small surprises. His route to this work wasn’t linear. It started with a semester in Florence, wound through New York’s hospitality world, where he ran a cigar bar for a very particular crowd, and eventually landed him in Madrid. That’s where things clicked. He taught English, picked up the language, fell for the culture, and stayed. Now living like a local and designing trips that help other people do the same. What sets Geoff apart is his ability to find the stuff most people miss. Small-town markets. Tucked-away hotels. Tapas bars where no one bothers with English menus. He doesn’t just plan where you’ll go—he builds in space for how it’ll feel.

She lives for the moments clients send back a photo with a simple “wow,” or tell her about a meal, a guide, or a view that genuinely moved them.

Danny Adler

Fun fact:

Danny still makes the world’s best tortilla - and no, he won’t give you the recipe.

So… who’s Marlow?

The man behind the name

He was a man of many talents and quiet depth. A family doctor. An amateur chef. A Missouri-based winemaker (yes, Missouri has wine). A tailor, architect, code breaker, and endlessly curious mind.

Most of all, he was Danny Adler’s grandfather, and the inspiration behind Adler Marlow’s second name. He lived with generosity, humility, and a deep respect for craft. His way of welcoming others continues to shape how we travel and how we work: thoughtfully, personally, and with care.

How we work

Share a vision, a wish, or a feeling and we’ll help shape it into a journey.
