Day 1

ARRIVAL IN SANTIAGO

The Camino de Santiago is world famous and the city is full of people from all over the world that have just completed their long pilgrimage. Visit the local food market, wander the charming streets and have a fantastic meal right in town.

Day 2
COOKING AND CATHEDRAL

Today meet your local host and head to the local food market. You will shop for ingredients for your Galician Cooking Class. Prepare a great meal of local fare and enjoy what you have worked on as lunch. In the afternoon an official guide will take you on a walking tour and a visit to the famous Cathedral.

DAY TRIP TO RIBEIRA SACRA

Today we will head out to the Galician countryside to the famous Ribera Sacra wine region. The dramatic landscape is the first thing you will notice. We will visit a small family run vineyard, enjoy a great lunch and then head out on a boat tour down the river. We’ll end our day with a drive to Vigo.

Day 4
DAY TRIP TO THE ISLAS CIES

Today we will head to a true hidden gem of Spain, the Islas Cíes. We’ll take a short ferry ride out to sea and arrive at these amazingly well preserved islands that are practically untouched by man. You will love experiencing the beautiful nature and can spend the day hiking, relaxing by the beach, or eating at one of the fantastic local restaurants.
